The Man Behind the Tin

I didn't start Rockabilly Body as a business idea. I started it because I couldn't find a wax that held, made with ingredients I could actually pronounce.

I'm Matt. Twenty years in the Navy: helicopter aircrewman, a combat tour in Iraq, four years recruiting, a decade in the Reserve. I'm also a Harley-trained motorcycle mechanic and a licensed Florida massage therapist, so I understand craftsmanship and I understand what ingredients actually do to skin, not just what the label claims.

I've worn a handlebar mustache for years. I got tired of waxes that didn't hold and brands that had never styled a mustache in their life. So I built something different.

Mustache wax is where it started, and it's still the flagship. But it didn't stop there. Beard oil, tattoo balm, candles, and more on the way, all built to the same standard: handmade, honest, and made to work.

Every product is weighed, melted or blended, and finished by hand in Jacksonville. Real American beeswax, pine rosin, lanolin, jojoba, castor oil. The same ingredients barbers used a hundred years ago, because they work. No petroleum jelly, no mineral oil, no filler. Six ingredients in the flagship wax. Read the label and compare it to what's in your cabinet.

If you've got a tin, thank you. You're funding the next batch. If you don't yet, try one. Worst case you're out twenty bucks on something that smells good. Best case, it's the wax you've been looking for.

Treat yourself.
